21st ANNUAL TANNERY POND CONCERT SERIES OPENS ON MAY 28th UNDER CHRISTIAN STEINER'S ARTISTIC DIRECTION
TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Under the artistic direction of celebrity photographer and concert pianist, Christian Steiner, the opening of the 21st Tannery Pond Concert Series will take place on Saturday, May 28 at 6:00 PM, followed by 6 events throughout the summer months.
This year's concerts will focus on the best of classical music of the last thousand years:
Bach, Schumann, Brahms, Beethoven, Debussy, Piazzolla, Dohnanyi, Xi Wang, Rebecca Clark, including an evening of American Music with the acclaimed soprano Christine Brewer. All concerts are held in a 311-seat authentic wooden Tannery building built by the Shakers in 1834 in the bucolic setting of the Berkshire Mountains.

Performances are held in the Tannery on the grounds of Mount Lebanon Shaker Village and Darrow School, New Lebanon, New York, one and a half miles east of the town center on route 20.
